History

Sri Gurajada Apparao Govt. Degree College was established in 1987 and affiliated with Andhra University, Visakhapatnam offered H.E.P (B.A). In 2011 H.E.P is replaced by H.E.RI (Rural InIndustrialization). Present the Department of History is offering B.A. Honors (History), B.A. Honors (Economics).

The History Department has following the CBCS pattern and the Curriculum is designed by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. There is more demand for the BA group and more than 40 students were admitted every year. The girl students are being admitted more in number rather than the boys every year. 

The outside of the Department is having wide corridor to take up study hours, Assignments and internal examinations.
