The Department was established in the year of 1997 with the Under Graduate (UG) courses were started with B.Sc., combination of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and B.Sc Combination of Botany and Zoology, Chemistry. Recently M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) was sanctioned in the Academic Year 2022-23.
